A top price for Anita Dube
This artwork by Anita Dube achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2007. In the Asian Contemporary Art auction, the work Sea Creature sold for HKD 175,000.00 (€ 15,298.20) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 90,000.00. This high result makes Sea Creature the most expensive artwork by Anita Dube that we have observed at auctions so far.
