Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2012 Sothebys in London held the auction Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art including Indian Miniature Paintings, which included the work Lack by Anita Dube. The price achieved of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 10,060.68) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Other works by Anita Dube have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2007 the work Sea Creature was auctioned for HKD 175,000.00 (€ 15,298.20).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2012 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art including Indian Miniature Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lack von Anita Dube zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 10.060,68) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Anita Dube konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2007 die Arbeit Sea Creature für HKD 175.000,00 (€ 15.298,20) versteigert.
