Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Offering (Triptych) by Anita Dube was auctioned at Sothebys in London in September 2020. The price achieved of GBP 3,780.00 (€ 4,168.06) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Anita Dube - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sea Creature, which sold at auction in November 2007 for HKD 175,000.00 (€ 15,298.20).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Offering (Triptych) von Anita Dube kam im September 2020 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.780,00 (€ 4.168,06) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Anita Dube mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sea Creature beobachtet, die im November 2007 für HKD 175.000,00 (€ 15.298,20) versteigert wurde.
