Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work Offering by Anita Dube for GBP 2,250.00 (€ 2,533.89). This price was achieved in the auction BRIC at Phillips in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Anita Dube have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sea Creature in November 2007 with an auction result of HKD 175,000.00 (€ 15,298.20).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2011 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Offering von Anita Dube für GBP 2.250,00 (€ 2.533,89) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion BRIC bei Phillips in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Anita Dube auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sea Creature im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 175.000,00 (€ 15.298,20).
