Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Angelo Savelli could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in September 2008 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art auction, the work Sugma changed hands for USD 11,250.00 (€ 7,989.49) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Angelo Savelli have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Senza titolo in May 2007 with an auction result of EUR 68,200.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Angelo Savelli konnte im September 2008 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Art wechselte die Arbeit Sugma für USD 11.250,00 (€ 7.989,49) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Angelo Savelli auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Senza titolo im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 68.200,00.
