Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Diagonals by Angelo Savelli was sold in the Contemporary Art auction at Sothebys in New York in September 2008. The price achieved of USD 16,250.00 (€ 11,540.37) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Angelo Savelli have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Senza titolo in May 2007 with an auction result of EUR 68,200.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Diagonals von Angelo Savelli wurde im September 2008 in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 16.250,00 (€ 11.540,37) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Angelo Savelli auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Senza titolo im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 68.200,00.
