The result of USD 250,000.00 (€ 224,235.36) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 250,000.00 – 350,000.00. Other works by Ángel Zárraga have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2000 the work La novia was auctioned for USD 292,000.00 (€ 305,919.33).
