The work Leaping Arch, 2009 by Andy Goldsworthy was auctioned at Bonhams in London in February 2021. It achieved a price of GBP 1,530.00 (€ 1,764.57), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 28%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Andy Goldsworthy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work (i) British Museum (Stonework) (ii) Stonework in February 2005 with an auction result of GBP 28,800.00 (€ 41,763.69).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 28 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Leaping Arch, 2009 von Andy Goldsworthy kam im Februar 2021 bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.530,00 (€ 1.764,57) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 28%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Andy Goldsworthy erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit (i) British Museum (Stonework) (ii) Stonework im Februar 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 28.800,00 (€ 41.763,69).
