A top price for Andrew Beer
In June 2006 Christies in London held the auction Sporting Art, Wildlife and Dogs, which included the work Sky Pilot; And Guiding Star by Andrew Beer. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,560.00 (€ 2,257.29), 30% above the upper estimate. With this result, Sky Pilot; And Guiding Star is even the most expensive work of art by Andrew Beer that we have observed at auctions so far.
