Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mr Oliver Dix's Floss; and Mr Oliver Dix's Young Spencer by Andrew Beer was sold in the British and Victorian including Scottish Paintings auction at Christies in London in March 2004. The price achieved of GBP 669.20 (€ 1,001.73) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 600.00 – 800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Andrew Beer - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sky Pilot; And Guiding Star, which sold at auction in June 2006 for GBP 1,560.00 (€ 2,257.29).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Mr Oliver Dix's Floss; and Mr Oliver Dix's Young Spencer von Andrew Beer wurde im März 2004 in der Auktion British and Victorian including Scottish Paintings bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 669,20 (€ 1.001,73) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 600,00 – 800,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Andrew Beer mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sky Pilot; And Guiding Star beobachtet, die im Juni 2006 für GBP 1.560,00 (€ 2.257,29) versteigert wurde.
