Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2007 Christies in London held the auction Sporting Art, Wildlife & Dogs, which included the work All alone by Andrew Beer. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 500.00 – 800.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 540.00 (€ 794.65) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Andrew Beer - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sky Pilot; And Guiding Star, which sold at auction in June 2006 for GBP 1,560.00 (€ 2,257.29).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2007 führte Christies in London die Auktion Sporting Art, Wildlife & Dogs durch, in der auch die Arbeit All alone von Andrew Beer zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 500,00 – 800,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 540,00 (€ 794,65) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Andrew Beer mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sky Pilot; And Guiding Star beobachtet, die im Juni 2006 für GBP 1.560,00 (€ 2.257,29) versteigert wurde.
