Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Tyrant Destroyer by Andres Barrioquinto was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2011. The price achieved of HKD 81,250.00 (€ 7,503.41) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 70,000.00 – 90,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Andres Barrioquinto achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Arms Around Your Love in October 2018 with an auction result of HKD 2,000,000.00 (€ 225,202.97).
