The work Hercule by Andrei Molodkin was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in June 2021. It achieved a price of EUR 4,410.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 47 %. Admittedly, works by Andrei Molodkin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Yes in March 2008 with an auction result of GBP 23,300.00 (€ 29,270.58).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 47 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Hercule von Andrei Molodkin kam im Juni 2021 bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 4.410,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 47 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Andrei Molodkin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Yes im März 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 23.300,00 (€ 29.270,58).
