A top price for Andrei Molodkin - as previously expected
In March 2008 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Contemporary Sale, which included the work Yes by Andrei Molodkin. The price achieved of GBP 23,300.00 (€ 29,270.58) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Yes is the most expensive artwork by Andrei Molodkin that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im März 2008 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Contemporary Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Yes von Andrei Molodkin zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 23.300,00 (€ 29.270,58) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Yes das teuerste Kunstwerk von Andrei Molodkin, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
