Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by André Bauchant achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in June 2016. In the Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale auction, the work Paysage Grecque sold for GBP 7,750.00 (€ 9,302.53) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by André Bauchant - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Festival Du Village, which sold at auction in May 2011 for USD 53,125.00 (€ 36,953.95).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von André Bauchant erzielte im Juni 2016 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Paysage Grecque für GBP 7.750,00 (€ 9.302,53) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von André Bauchant mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Festival Du Village beobachtet, die im Mai 2011 für USD 53.125,00 (€ 36.953,95) versteigert wurde.
