The work Arbre en fleurs by André Bauchant was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in March 2021. It achieved a price of EUR 8,820.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 26 %. Admittedly, works by André Bauchant have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Festival Du Village in May 2011 with an auction result of USD 53,125.00 (€ 36,953.95).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 26 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Arbre en fleurs von André Bauchant kam im März 2021 bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 8.820,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 26 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von André Bauchant auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Festival Du Village im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 53.125,00 (€ 36.953,95).
