Auction result well in line with expectations
In April this year Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Contemporary Art & Design, which included the work "Rose #2" by Anders Knutsson. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of SEK 40,000.00 – 60,000.00, the actual price achieved of SEK 42,000.00 (€ 3,713.04) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Anders Knutsson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Yellow #9", which sold at auction in April 2018 for SEK 140,000.00 (€ 13,230.08).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April diesen Jahres führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Contemporary Art & Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Rose #2" von Anders Knutsson zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von SEK 42.000,00 (€ 3.713,04) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Anders Knutsson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Yellow #9" beobachtet, die im April 2018 für SEK 140.000,00 (€ 13.230,08) versteigert wurde.
