Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Summer flowers by Anatoly Shapovalov was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2007. The price achieved of GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,795.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Anatoly Shapovalov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Before The Performance, which sold at auction in May 2006 for GBP 4,800.00 (€ 7,006.44).
