Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Sunflowers and apples by Anatoly Shapovalov was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in London in May 2011. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,375.00 (€ 1,572.32). Admittedly, works by Anatoly Shapovalov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Before The Performance in May 2006 with an auction result of GBP 4,800.00 (€ 7,006.44).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Sunflowers and apples von Anatoly Shapovalov wurde im Mai 2011 in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.375,00 (€ 1.572,32) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Anatoly Shapovalov auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Before The Performance im Mai 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.800,00 (€ 7.006,44).
