Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Before The Show by Anatoly Shapovalov was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in London in February 2013. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,177.92) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Anatoly Shapovalov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Before The Performance, which sold at auction in May 2006 for GBP 4,800.00 (€ 7,006.44).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Before The Show von Anatoly Shapovalov wurde im Februar 2013 in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.875,00 (€ 2.177,92) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Anatoly Shapovalov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Before The Performance beobachtet, die im Mai 2006 für GBP 4.800,00 (€ 7.006,44) versteigert wurde.
