Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Crossing the river by Anatoly Shapovalov was auctioned at Christies in London in May 2011. The price achieved of GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,143.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by Anatoly Shapovalov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Before The Performance in May 2006 with an auction result of GBP 4,800.00 (€ 7,006.44).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Crossing the river von Anatoly Shapovalov kam im Mai 2011 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.000,00 (€ 1.143,50) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Anatoly Shapovalov auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Before The Performance im Mai 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.800,00 (€ 7.006,44).
