Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2012 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Eastern beauties by Anatoly Shapovalov. The price achieved of GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,194.03) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by Anatoly Shapovalov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Before The Performance in May 2006 with an auction result of GBP 4,800.00 (€ 7,006.44).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2012 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Eastern beauties von Anatoly Shapovalov zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.000,00 (€ 1.194,03) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Anatoly Shapovalov auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Before The Performance im Mai 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.800,00 (€ 7.006,44).
