Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Overhand by Anastasia Bay was sold in the Evening & Day Editions auction at Phillips in London in June this year. The price achieved of GBP 1,207.00 (€ 1,404.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anastasia Bay achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Boxer in November last year with an auction result of HKD 567,000.00 (€ 70,360.07).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Overhand von Anastasia Bay wurde im Juni diesen Jahres in der Auktion Evening & Day Editions bei Phillips in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.207,00 (€ 1.404,74) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Anastasia Bay erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Boxer im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 567.000,00 (€ 70.360,07).
