This artwork by Ambadas Khobragade achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in May 2007. In the The Indian Sale auction, the work without title sold for GBP 24,000.00 (€ 35,317.62) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Ambadas Khobragade; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot without title sold at auction in May 2008 with the realized price of GBP 36,500.00 (€ 46,429.60).

In der Auktion The Indian Sale wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 24.000,00 (€ 35.317,62) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 12.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Ambadas Khobragade; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2008 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 36.500,00 (€ 46.429,60).
