Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Ambadas Khobragade was sold in the South Asian Art Online Sale auction at Bonhams in London in December 2018. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,750.00 (€ 1,949.66) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ambadas Khobragade achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May 2008 with an auction result of GBP 36,500.00 (€ 46,429.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Ambadas Khobragade wurde im Dezember 2018 in der Auktion South Asian Art Online Sale bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.750,00 (€ 1.949,66) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ambadas Khobragade erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 36.500,00 (€ 46.429,60).
