This artwork by Ambadas Khobragade achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in September 2021. In the South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art auction, the work without title sold for USD 31,250.00 (€ 26,993.18) - well above the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Ambadas Khobragade; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot without title sold at auction in May 2008 with the realized price of GBP 36,500.00 (€ 46,429.60).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Ambadas Khobragade erzielte im September 2021 bei Christies einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 31.250,00 (€ 26.993,18) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 15.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Ambadas Khobragade; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2008 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 36.500,00 (€ 46.429,60).
