Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Ambadas Khobragade was sold in the A Lasting Engagement: The Jane and Kito de Boer Collection Online auction at Christies in New York in September 2020. The price achieved of USD 3,000.00 (€ 2,560.16) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ambadas Khobragade achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May 2008 with an auction result of GBP 36,500.00 (€ 46,429.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Ambadas Khobragade wurde im September 2020 in der Auktion A Lasting Engagement: The Jane and Kito de Boer Collection Online bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.000,00 (€ 2.560,16) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ambadas Khobragade erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 36.500,00 (€ 46.429,60).
