This artwork by Alphonse Quizet achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in February 2012. In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work Along the Seine, Paris sold for USD 2,250.00 (€ 1,684.26) - well above the upper estimate of USD 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by Alphonse Quizet have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Canal d'Aubervillier in February 2011 with an auction result of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 8,098.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 88 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Alphonse Quizet erzielte im Februar 2012 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Christie's Interiors wurde die Arbeit Along the Seine, Paris für USD 2.250,00 (€ 1.684,26) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 1.200,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alphonse Quizet auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Canal d'Aubervillier im Februar 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 6.875,00 (€ 8.098,17).
