Admittedly, works by Alma Lavenson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Self-Portrait in October 2000 with an auction result of USD 58,750.00 (€ 69,231.68).

Die Arbeit Self Portrait von Alma Lavenson kam im Juni 2019 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 16.250,00 (€ 14.379,26) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 35%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alma Lavenson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Self-Portrait im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 58.750,00 (€ 69.231,68).
