Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Auratum Lily by Alma Lavenson was auctioned at Phillips in New York in April 2019. The price achieved of USD 12,500.00 (€ 11,159.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alma Lavenson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Self-Portrait in October 2000 with an auction result of USD 58,750.00 (€ 69,231.68).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Auratum Lily von Alma Lavenson kam im April 2019 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 11.159,72) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alma Lavenson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Self-Portrait im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 58.750,00 (€ 69.231,68).
