Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Small Clown Head by Allison Schulnik was auctioned at Phillips in New York in September 2015. The price achieved of USD 4,750.00 (€ 4,255.51) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Allison Schulnik - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bear, which sold at auction in September 2012 for USD 17,500.00 (€ 13,612.32).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Small Clown Head von Allison Schulnik kam im September 2015 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 4.750,00 (€ 4.255,51) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Allison Schulnik mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Bear beobachtet, die im September 2012 für USD 17.500,00 (€ 13.612,32) versteigert wurde.
