The work Portrait Of Richard Powney, D.C.L (B. C.1702), Half-Length, In A Brown Coat And Gold-Embroidered Waistcoat, In A Sculpted Cartouche by Allan Ramsay was sold in the Julians Park and Six Private Collections: Live auction at Christies in June 2021. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,478.90), 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Allan Ramsay achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of Anne, Lady North (c. 1740-1797), wife of Frederick North, 2nd Baron North, three-quarter-length, in a pink dress and lace shawl with roses at her décolletage, and a lace headdress, by a column in July 2008 with an auction result of GBP 421,250.00 (€ 535,202.87).

Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait of Anne, Lady North (c. 1740-1797), wife of Frederick North, 2nd Baron North, three-quarter-length, in a pink dress and lace shawl with roses at her décolletage, and a lace headdress, by a column im Juli 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 421.250,00 (€ 535.202,87).
