In the British and European Art auction, the work Female Nude sold for GBP 2,805.00 (€ 3,289.44) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by Allan Douglas Davidson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work An English Yum-Yum: my lady lights the sombre day: A scene from The Mikado in July 2020 with an auction result of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 16,731.36).
