Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2005 Christies in New York held the auction first open Post-War and Contemporary Art, which included the work GB Finds a Tree and Apple by Alik Cavaliere. The price achieved of USD 10,800.00 (€ 8,956.71) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alik Cavaliere have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mezzo Albero Con Mele in November 2017 with an auction result of EUR 85,000.00.
