Auction result well in line with expectations
The work W la Libertà by Alik Cavaliere was sold in the Contemporary Art | Milan auction at Sothebys in Milan in May 2021. It changed hands for a price of EUR 17,640.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alik Cavaliere have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mezzo Albero Con Mele in November 2017 with an auction result of EUR 85,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit W la Libertà von Alik Cavaliere wurde im Mai 2021 in der Auktion Contemporary Art | Milan bei Sothebys in Mailand versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 17.640,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 12.000,00 – 18.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alik Cavaliere auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mezzo Albero Con Mele im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 85.000,00.
