Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Gulick Sisters by Alice Boughton was auctioned at Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts in September last year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 573.75 (€ 586.48). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alice Boughton achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Three Photographic Portraits Of W.B. Yeats in September 2017 with an auction result of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,090.71).

Die Arbeit Gulick Sisters von Alice Boughton kam im September letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 573,75 (€ 586,48) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alice Boughton erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Three Photographic Portraits Of W.B. Yeats im September 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.090,71).
