Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sunrise by Ali Banisadr was sold in the Contemporary Curated auction at Sothebys in London in November 2019. The price achieved of GBP 62,500.00 (€ 73,390.28) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ali Banisadr have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Motherboard in July 2020 with an auction result of USD 572,000.00 (€ 485,816.21).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
