Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2019 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included the work Untitled (Fachada) by Alfredo Volpi. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 350,000.00 – 450,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 375,000.00 (€ 340,321.26) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Alfredo Volpi have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2011 the work Bandeirinhas estruturadas was auctioned for USD 842,500.00 (€ 626,254.37).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2019 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Fachada) von Alfredo Volpi zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 350.000,00 – 450.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 375.000,00 (€ 340.321,26) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Alfredo Volpi konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2011 die Arbeit Bandeirinhas estruturadas für USD 842.500,00 (€ 626.254,37) versteigert.
