Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2019 Christies in London held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art Evening Auction, which included the work Untitled (Bandeirinhas com Mastros no Azul) (Untitled (Flags with Masts in Blue)) by Alfredo Volpi. The price achieved of GBP 383,250.00 (€ 444,542.51) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300,000.00 – 500,000.00. Other works by Alfredo Volpi have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2011 the work Bandeirinhas estruturadas was auctioned for USD 842,500.00 (€ 626,254.37).

Im Oktober 2019 führte Christies in London die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Evening Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Bandeirinhas com Mastros no Azul) (Untitled (Flags with Masts in Blue)) von Alfredo Volpi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 383.250,00 (€ 444.542,51) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 300.000,00 – 500.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Alfredo Volpi konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2011 die Arbeit Bandeirinhas estruturadas für USD 842.500,00 (€ 626.254,37) versteigert.
