Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2014 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included the work Fachada by Alfredo Volpi. The »bidding war« ended at USD 545,000.00 (€ 399,560.12), 21% above the upper estimate. Other works by Alfredo Volpi have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 842,500.00 (€ 626,254.37) in November 2011 for the work Bandeirinhas estruturadas.

Im Mai 2014 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fachada von Alfredo Volpi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 545.000,00 (€ 399.560,12) und damit 21% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Alfredo Volpi haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 842.500,00 (€ 626.254,37) im November 2011 für die Arbeit Bandeirinhas estruturadas beobachtet.
