Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Los Novios (The Sweethearts) by Alfredo Ramos Martínez was sold in the Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale Online auction at Sothebys in New York in May 2020. It achieved a price of USD 47,500.00 (€ 42,800.50), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 19%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alfredo Ramos Martínez achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flowers of Mexico in June 2007 with an auction result of USD 4,072,000.00 (€ 3,011,834.32).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Los Novios (The Sweethearts) von Alfredo Ramos Martínez wurde im Mai 2020 in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale Online bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 47.500,00 (€ 42.800,50) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 19%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alfredo Ramos Martínez erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flowers of Mexico im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.072.000,00 (€ 3.011.834,32).
