This work without title by Alfred Leslie was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in September 2017. It achieved a price of USD 112,500.00 (€ 95,234.06), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alfred Leslie - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Diana, which sold at auction in April last year for EUR 264,600.00.

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Alfred Leslie kam im September 2017 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 112.500,00 (€ 95.234,06) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Für andere Arbeiten von Alfred Leslie mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Diana beobachtet, die im April letzten Jahres für EUR 264.600,00 versteigert wurde.
