In November 2010 Sothebys in Toronto held the auction Important Canadian Art, which included the work Log Cabin - Redmond Bay - Lake Baptiste by Alfred Joseph Casson. The »bidding war« ended at CAD 39,000.00 (€ 29,139.31), 30% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alfred Joseph Casson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Below Ragged Falls, Oxtongue River, which sold at auction in November 2012 for CAD 111,750.00 (€ 86,488.14).

Im November 2010 führte Sothebys in Toronto die Auktion Important Canadian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Log Cabin - Redmond Bay - Lake Baptiste von Alfred Joseph Casson zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von CAD 39.000,00 (€ 29.139,31) und damit 30% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Alfred Joseph Casson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Below Ragged Falls, Oxtongue River beobachtet, die im November 2012 für CAD 111.750,00 (€ 86.488,14) versteigert wurde.
