A top price for Alfred Joseph Casson - as previously expected
In November 2012 Sothebys in Toronto held the auction Important Canadian Art, which included the work Below Ragged Falls, Oxtongue River by Alfred Joseph Casson. The price achieved of CAD 111,750.00 (€ 86,488.14) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CAD 90,000.00 – 120,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Below Ragged Falls, Oxtongue River is the most expensive artwork by Alfred Joseph Casson that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im November 2012 führte Sothebys in Toronto die Auktion Important Canadian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Below Ragged Falls, Oxtongue River von Alfred Joseph Casson zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CAD 111.750,00 (€ 86.488,14) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CAD 90.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden.
