The »bidding war« ended at USD 25,000.00 (€ 21,822.63), 25% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Alfonso X. Peña have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in November 2014 with an auction result of USD 245,000.00 (€ 196,977.01).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 21.822,63) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alfonso X. Peña auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 245.000,00 (€ 196.977,01).
