The work Polyonymy - 1967 by Alfonso Ossorio was worth EUR 343,800.00 to a buyer in June 2019. This price was achieved in the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art II at Artcurial in Paris and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 30,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Alfonso Ossorio; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Nevertheless sold at auction in May last year with the realized price of USD 604,800.00 (€ 563,600.78).
