Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2009 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Modern Art, which included the work Petite Fille Lisant by Alexandre Garbell. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 893.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alexandre Garbell - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Plage De Mers, 1954, which sold at auction in December 2009 for EUR 2,550.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2009 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Petite Fille Lisant von Alexandre Garbell zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 893,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Alexandre Garbell mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Plage De Mers, 1954 beobachtet, die im Dezember 2009 für EUR 2.550,00 versteigert wurde.
