Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2009 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Modern Art, which included the work Le Phare, 1950 - Bateaux Au Port, 1952 - Etude D'Arbres, 1960 by Alexandre Garbell. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 510.00. Admittedly, works by Alexandre Garbell have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Plage De Mers, 1954 in December 2009 with an auction result of EUR 2,550.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2009 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Le Phare, 1950 - Bateaux Au Port, 1952 - Etude D'Arbres, 1960 von Alexandre Garbell zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 510,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alexandre Garbell auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Plage De Mers, 1954 im Dezember 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 2.550,00.
