Auction result well in line with expectations
The work From Concrete to Abstract (Balloons) by Alexandre Arrechea was auctioned at Christies in New York in May 2015. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 12,500.00 (€ 11,369.84) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Alexandre Arrechea have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sherry Netherlands (from the 'NOLIMITS' series) in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 62,500.00 (€ 52,529.84).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit From Concrete to Abstract (Balloons) von Alexandre Arrechea kam im Mai 2015 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 11.369,84) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alexandre Arrechea auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sherry Netherlands (from the 'NOLIMITS' series) im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 62.500,00 (€ 52.529,84).
