Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Few Days Before Katrina (Diálogo) by Alexandre Arrechea was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2015. The price achieved of USD 27,500.00 (€ 26,036.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 25,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alexandre Arrechea - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sherry Netherlands (from the 'NOLIMITS' series), which sold at auction in November 2017 for USD 62,500.00 (€ 52,529.84).
